A support assembly 10 usable for instance to assist people getting into a bath. The assembly 10 including a platform member 12 and a plurality of spacer members 14 mounted one on each other beneath the platform member 12 to provide the platform member 12 at a required height. A plurality of platform members 12 and a required corresponding numbers of spacer members 14 may be provided, which may for instance provide a gentle step configuration leading to a bath or elsewhere. The adjacent spacers may be connected to form a larger coherent platform. |
