PURPOSE: A hinge for a vertically hinged furniture door is provided to enable convenient opening/closing of the door without using a gas shock-absorber. CONSTITUTION: A hinge for a vertically hinged furniture door comprises a housing(10) and a mounting bracket(20) which are respectively fixed to a furniture body and a door and hinged on both ends of a connection bracket(30). A slide(40) is inserted in an internal space(11) of the housing and elastically moved with a repelling spring(45). The rear end of an operating cam(50) is hinged on the mounting bracket, and a cam part(51) on the leading end of the operating cam is rotated and elastically supported on a front supporting surface(41) of the slide in order to keep the door open. |
