PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing the infiltration of foreign materials in a bridge joint is provided to extend the life span of the bridge joint, reduce noises caused by vehicles passing the bridge, and secure clean roads on the bridge. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing the infiltration of foreign materials in a bridge joint comprises a structural element which is formed between joints. The apparatus can be applied to different types of bridge joints and used for repair as well as for new installation. |
