PURPOSE: A tilt-free processing method for ring lenses is provided to ensure reduced processing time by excluding a process of chucking and cutting three outer surfaces of a ring lens in turn. CONSTITUTION: A tilt-free processing method for ring lenses is as follows. A side of a ring lens which has a ring(350) inserted with a lens(310) is chucked with one of chucks(420,430). The ring lens is rotated and the chucks are measured with reflection-type tilt measuring instruments(440,450), respectively. The chucking position of the ring lens is adjusted to offset the eccentricity of the lens, and the other side of the ring lens is chucked with the other one of the chucks. Three outer surfaces of the ring lens are cut with a bite in order to align the optical axis of the lens with the central axis of the ring by rotating the ring lens without turning over and chucking the ring lens. |
