PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a device for measuring forward bending of the upper body is provided to enable a user to exactly and conveniently measure the flexibility of the human body. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring forward bending of the upper body comprises: an LM guide(22); a guide plate connected to an LM Guide Block; an encoder holder(24) connected to the guide plate; an encoder(25) and a wheel(26) connected to the encoder holder; a sliding device(20); and a transmission unit(30). A method for manufacturing a device for measuring forward bending of the upper body comprises: a step of measuring the location information of a user; a step of transmitting and receiving the location information to a transceiver; a step of transmitting the location information to a personal computer; and a step of automatically calculating and storing the position information value.
