FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture and may be used to cut grass and other vegetation. The trimmer head has an axis of rotation and comprises a body of two joined parts. At one part of the body there is at least one outlet hole for exit of the cutting line end from the body. The body has a cylindrical external wall. In the body there is at least one spool for the cutting line and a facility to extend the ends of the cutting line or to recover their initial length. A radial ledge is arranged near the outlet hole or each outlet hole to protect the cutting line that exits the hole. Whenever the line breaks, its broken end protrudes outside from the head by a value equal to the maximum size of the ledge. The head design eliminates necessity to withdraw the cutting line from the inner space of the body. ^ EFFECT: development of improved trimmer design. ^ 19 cl, 14 dwg |
