摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection device which, even when a drive rod for injecting an injection material into a molding die is, for example, suddenly stopped, does not cause any damage to components constituting the injection device. SOLUTION: The injection device includes an electromotive drive mechanism 40. The electromotive drive mechanism 40 includes an electric motor 10, an inner gear 23 rotatable through a ring gear 21 and a planet gear 22, and a rotating shaft 24. The injection device further includes direct acting members 51, 52 that are travelled straight by the rotation of the rotating shaft 24, a drive rod 61 that is mounted on the direct acting member 51 and is travelled straight, and a sleeve 62 that injects an injection material M by straight travel of the drive rod 61. The inner gear 23 and the planet gear 22 are detachable through a centrifugal clutch 30. The injection material M is injectable in such a posture that the inner gear 23 and the planet gear 22 are in frictional engagement with each other through the centrifugal clutch 30. When the straight travel of the drive rod 61 is stopped and, further, the inertial force that acts on the inner gear 23 is larger than the frictional force that forms the frictional engagement, the engagement between the inner gear 23 and the planet gear 22 by the centrifugal clutch 30 is released.
