A holder (5) for use in and a display device, such as an advertising pillar provided with such a holder, for autostereoscopic display of visualisations in a panoramagram placed on a plate- shaped carrier. The holder (5) comprises a support frame consisting of a first window- shaped frame part (6) and a second window- shaped frame part (7). The first frame part (6) is designed to hold the panoramagram (8) and the second frame part (7) is designed to hold an effect carrier (9) for providing an autostereoscopic visualisation of a panoramagram (8) being held in the first frame part (6). The first (6) and the second frame part (7) are connected in such a manner as to be movable with respect to each other between a closed position, in which the two frame parts make contact with one another in such a manner that the effect carrier (9) and the panoramagram (8) extend parallel to each other, a predetermined distance apart, and an open position, in which a panoramagram (8) can be placed in the window of the first frame part (6). |
