PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stop which can fix a top-railed sliding door at an opening/closing position while preventing swinging thereof even if the sliding door is installed at a place with no walls or even if the sliding door is a single sliding door, and a top-railed sliding door device with the door stop. SOLUTION: The door stop for a top-railed sliding door having a guide groove for swing prevention at the lower end, wherein one end of the guide groove for swing prevention opens at a butt end surface includes a base member for fixing the door stop to a floor surface, and a cover member fitted to the base member so as to cover the base member. The cover member is provided with a planar abutting surface to which the butt end surface of the top-railed sliding door abuts, and a projected streak portion formed integrally from the bottom toward the top of the cover member so as to project from the abutting surface. The projected streak portion has a trapezoidal cross-sectional shape with a side surface inclined so that the width becomes narrow as being separated from the abutting surface, and when the projected streak portion enters into the opening of the guide groove for swing prevention of the top-railed sliding door, the inclined side surface is abutted and fitted to the inside wall of the guide groove for swing prevention.
