PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna reception controller capable of receiving broadcast waves with a suitable reception sensitivity even in a strong electric field environment without unnecessarily reducing the reception sensitivity. SOLUTION: The antenna reception controller 100 performs reception sensitivity setting processing when a signal level inputted at a high frequency amplifier 5 exceeds an input dynamic range of the high frequency amplifier 5. A plurality of switch states can be transited to change a reception state gradually. Then, the antenna reception controller 100 detects a level of received signal in each reception state changed gradually to determine the optimal reception state, and receives broadcast waves according to the determined optimal reception state (reception state of a threshold or below with the maximum reception sensitivity).
