PURPOSE: A customer analysis system and method thereof which uses a shopping cart locking device are provided to utilize purchasing patterns by analyzing purchase patterns through a locking device of a shopping cart. CONSTITUTION: A rechargeable battery(14) is installed inside a locking device of a shopping cart. A wireless communication module(16) is installed inside the shopping cart locking device and receives power from the power source. Access nodes(120) wirelessly transceive signals from the wireless communication module. A manager node(150) receives data about the wireless communication module. The manager node analyzes the purchasing patterns about clients based on the received data.
