<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor suitable for converting luminance information on an input image to form an output image different in gradation characteristics, and an image processing method, an image processing program, an imaging apparatus and an electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging system includes an HDR imaging apparatus and an image processor 20. The image processor 20 includes an illumination component converting section 20a generating luminance image data Y and illumination component data L based on color HDR image data; a limit control section 20b determining a limit value lim of a gain coefficient k corresponding to the brightness of an image based on the average luminance AVE of the luminance image data Y and a threshold of luminance; a coefficient computing section 20c computing compressed illumination component data L' from the illumination component data L, computing a gain coefficient k based on L and L' and setting the gain coefficient k to lim when the computed k exceeds lim; and a range compressing section 20d compressing a dynamic range of the color HDR image data based on the gain coefficient k. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
