A contact has a tail portion 2 made from a piece of sheet metal folded at 11 along its length, and two arms 4 and 5 extending forwardly from the tail on opposite sides of the fold. The tail 2 may be used for clipped or wrapped connections, and in the latter case the two surfaces 10 are displaced so as to provide three biting edges (Fig. 8, not shown). Several contacts may be secured in a housing (Fig. 3, not shown) by means of springy detents 9 and the outwardly projecting ends 6 and 7 of the arms 4 and 5. The housing may be provided with a slot 24 (Fig. 3, not shown) for engagement by a spring detent provided on a relay carrying co-operating tab connectors.
