PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiviral agent composition having high safety and excellent virus inactivation property by adopting a silicon-containing compound produced by a specific production method, and a method for immobilizing the antiviral agent by using the composition.

SOLUTION: There is provided an antibacterial composition containing the silicon-containing compound expressed by general formula (1) and obtained by reacting a specific triethoxysilyl compound in an ethanol solvent. In formula, R1is 12-24C alkyl; R2and R3are each same or different 1-6C lower alkyl; and X is a halogen ion or organic carbonyloxy ion (organic carboxylic acid ion).
