摘要 <p>Disclosed is an illuminating device wherein the manufacture cost of a power supply substrate connected to a discharge tube is reduced by reducing the sizes of the power supply substrate. The illuminating device (2) is provided with: a chassis (4); a discharge tube (20) wherein a glass tube (18) is bent such that the glass tube (18) has electrodes (17) on both the end sections and the electrodes (17) are disposed in one direction; and the power supply substrate which supplies power to the discharge tube (20). Two discharge tubes (20) are disposed in the chassis (4). In the planar view of the chassis (4), the two discharge tubes (20) are housed parallel to each other in the chassis (4) such that the electrodes of the discharge tubes (20) are arranged in one direction. Among the electrodes (17) arranged in one direction, the two electrodes (17) positioned on the inner side are electrically connected to the power supply substrate, and the two electrodes (17) positioned on the outer side are electrically connected to the chassis (4).</p>
