<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply coagulating contaminants without the need of any centrifugal separation treatment, which can be employed as a pretreatment for amplifying a nucleic acid in a whole blood sample and a nucleic acid amplification method which can amplify a nucleic acid in a whole blood sample conveniently with high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method for pretreatment of nucleic acid in a whole blood sample includes (a) a step of diluting the whole blood sample with a diluent solvent containing a polyvalent cation and (b) a step of heat-treating the whole blood sample diluted in the step (a). The nucleic acid amplification method includes carrying out a nucleic acid amplification reaction by using a treatment solution pretreated by the pretreatment method for a whole blood sample. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
