PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for illuminating a movable operation board and an apparatus body front surface positioned in the lower part of a fixed operation panel with the use of one illumination part. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: the fixed operation panel arranged on the front surface of the apparatus body so as to cover a probe connector from the upper part of the apparatus body; the movable operation board; a guide support member for guiding and supporting the movable operation board to be movable between a storage position for storing the movable operation board in the lower part of the fixed operation panel and a use position for drawing out the movable operation board to the front side from the lower part of the fixed operation panel; and the illumination part to be turned in a direction to illuminate the upper surface of the movable operation board moved to the anterior use position when the movable operation board is moved to the use position, and to be turned in a direction to illuminate the probe connector positioned in the lower part of the fixed operation panel when the movable operation board is moved to the storage position.
