摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic horn type electron spin resonance apparatus conforming to the enhancement of ESR measuring sensitivity, the enhancement of operability by automation, the measurement of a sample large in dielectric loss and a large-sized/much sample, the blood and tissue tests on the clinical spot in the fields from fundamental science to material engineering, environmental science and medical science, a redox related ageing phenomenon, the study of a mechanism of carcinogenesis or the like. SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic horn type electron spin resonance (ESR) apparatus composed of a microwave transmitter, an electromagnetic horn antenna device, the magnetic field modulation device to a sample, a microwave reflective plate and a reflected wave processor, and a microwave radiation convex lens is provided to the surface of the electromagnetic horn of the electromagnetic horn antenna device and the microwave reflective plate is formed as a concave reflective surface type microwave reflective plate. The position regulator of the sample placing stand between the microwave radiation convex lens and a microwave concave reflective surface type microwave reflective plate and the concave reflective surface type microwave reflective plate is provided, and a microwave power monitor is installed to apply an accurate ESR alignment mechanism to make it possible to vary a temperature or to install a sample rotating goniometer.
