AUTOMATIC PLATFORM GATE

Disclosed is an automatic platform gate that is capable of stably erecting and driving automatic shutters with a simple structure. The automatic platform gate comprises a guide rail (2) that extends in the lengthwise direction of a platform (1) upon the floor surface of the platform, automatic shutters (3) further comprising door body housing portions, driving bodies and driving means. The automatic shutters (3) are capable of moving in the lengthwise direction of the platform as a result of the driving bodies moving in line with the guide rail (2) by way of the driving means, and door bodies (4) and (5) that are disposed to be capable of sliding movement within the door body housing portions. The automatic shutters (3) are formed in an approximate triangular shape as seen in elevation from a platform-side approach surface (30), a track-side approach surface (31), a bottom surface (33), and a summit portion (32).
