Pharmaceutical composition comprises rosiglitazone succinate as an active agent. An independent claim is also included for preparing a tablet, comprising: (i) preparing granules containing rosiglitazone succinate and excipients, (ii) preparing a tablet mixture containing the granules of step (i) and optionally excipients, (iii) pressing the tableting mixture, and optionally, (iv) applying a film coating on the tablet core obtained in step (iii); or (a) providing a powdered mixture containing rosiglitazone succinate and excipients, (b) pressing the powdered mixture, and optionally (c) applying a film coating on the tablet core obtained in step (b).
