The device (10) has a transport mechanism (13) for transporting electric components to a collecting position (15) at which the components are collected by a handling equipment (7). A demagnetization device (17) demagnetizes the components, and has a coil that is coupled to an alternating current (AC) voltage source for generating an alternating magnetic field. The voltage source is designed in such a manner that the magnetic field generated by the coil has constant field strength amplitude. An independent claim is also included for a mounting system with a feeding device.
