PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damper equipped with a compact stopper mechanism wherein a size in a height direction is small. SOLUTION: The vibration damper is composed of a vibration control mount having a rubber elastic body as a main constituent, an engine side bracket 10, a body side bracket 12, and a cover member 14 made of rubber covering from an upper side a cylindrical holder part of the bracket 10 holding the vibration control mount by press fitting. Rubber stopper parts 150-1, 150-2 of fore and aft directions are provided on the cover member 14 made of rubber, and the stopper mechanism in a radial longitudinal direction is composed of the rubber stopper parts 150-1, 150-2, and corresponding portions in the brackets 10, 12.
