The oscillator has a magnetic layer (8) i.e. reference layer, polarizing electrical current and providing magnetization in a fixed direction. Another magnetic layer i.e. free layer (10), oscillates magnetization when the free layer is crossed by the polarized current. A non-magnetic layer (12) i.e. spacer, is interposed between the reference layer and the free layer, and circulation units are formed with electrodes (4, 6). The magnetic layers are formed by stacking three ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic under layers (20-22) or coupling with each other by Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yosida coupling. The anti-ferromagnetic layer is made of manganese alloy such as iridium manganese, ferro manganese, platinum manganese and nickel manganese. The non magnetic layer is made of an insulating material such as oxide or nitride of aluminum, magnesium oxide, tantalum nitride and strontium titanate. The ferromagnetic under layer is made of a ferromagnetic material such as cobalt, ruthenium, rhenium, copper, chromium, platinum or silver, nickel or iron or metal alloy such as cobalt iron, cobalt iron sulphide and nickel iron.
|
