PURPOSE: A composition containing platycodin D is provided to specifically enhance KLF2 expression and to ensure anti-agiogenesis or anti-blood clotting. CONSTITUTION: A composition for promoting KLF2(Kruppel-Like Factor 2) expression contains platycodin D as an active ingredient. A composition for suppressing angiogenesis or thrombosis contains platycodin D as an active ingredient. The platycodin D is a physically active substance of saponins isolated from Platycodi radix. The Platycodi radix is isolated from water, hydrous or anhydrous low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, acetone, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, or 1,3-butylene glycol.
