PURPOSE: A method for providing a customized text-to-speech service using a voice profile and a terminal thereof are provided to supply a TTS service in voice by an originator which sends a text message. CONSTITUTION: A terminal acquires a voice of a selected originator, and generates a voice profile of the originator(S3). The terminal transfers the voice profile to a reception terminal(S4). If an SMS(Short Message Service) message is received to the reception terminal, the reception terminal confirms whether or not the originator is a customized text to speech service setter(S5, S6). The reception terminal converts the text message to the voice of the originator through the execution of the voice profile(S8). |
