PURPOSE: A method for processing the surface of steel welding joint is provided to improve the toughness, strength surface hardness of the steel welding joint. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing the surface of steel welding joint comprises next steps. The steel sheet reeled in a coil state is released and cuts to be the steel sheet material of regular length. The product having the welding connection part parts, in which molded elements are welded, is manufactured. The shot ball less than 0.01~0.03mm is projected on the welding connection part from a nozzle(21) of the shot peening device for a fixed time. A hard layer, having the hardening depth of 100~200μm from the surface of the welding connection part, is formed.
