APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR UPDATING CONTENTS BASED ON LOCATION

PURPOSE: A location based content update apparatus which supplies a customized RSS service is provided to select RSS content which is selected by location information and increase the usability of RSS content. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(100) designates content update location information according to an RSS(Really Simple Syndication) URL. An RSS gateway(210) obtains the location information of the user terminal. In case the obtained location information matches with designated location information, the RSS gateway selects RSS content which is updated according to location information. The user terminal updates the selected RSS content.
