PURPOSE: A noise reduction structure of a motor-driven power steering is provided to consecutively and stably maintain the engaged state of a worm wheel and a worm gear shaft by elastically supporting the worm gear shaft toward the worm wheel. CONSTITUTION: A noise reduction structure of a motor-driven power steering comprises a worm wheel(11), a worm gear shaft(15), a tilt bearing(17), a support bearing(19), an oval ring(21), a pressing pin(23), and a variable elastic member(25). The worm wheel is coupled to a steering shaft. The worm gear shaft comprises a worm gear meshed with the worm wheel. The tilt bearing supports one end of the worm gear shaft. The support bearing supports the other end of the worm gear shaft. The oval ring accepts the movement of the support bearing. The pressing pin passes through the oval ring to press the support bearing. The variable elastic member supplies variable elastic force to the pressing pin.
