PURPOSE: A battery current consumption state display method of a portable terminal and an apparatus thereof is provided to measure the current state of a battery and to display the residual amount of battery power to a user. CONSTITUTION: A device applies a measured current value to an ADC(Analog to Digital Converter) through an ADC port(212). The ADC confirms a battery compensation offset value(214). The device calculates a battery voltage level compensation value(216). The device applies a calculated battery voltage level compensation value to detected voltage(222). The device displays the residual amount of battery power(224).
