FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC TABLE TOP-PLATE AND MOLDING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An upper plate for an FRP(Fire-Reinforced Plastic) table and a molding method thereof are provided to improve resistivity against surface damage and impact resistance against surface damage. CONSTITUTION: A molding method of an upper plate for an FRP table comprises followings steps. Curable unsaturated polyester resin is applied and hardened in a cavity of a mold(M). A gel coat layer(1) is formed. An FRP layer(2) is formed on the gel coat layer. The FRP layer is formed of curing resin and non-woven fabric. The binder is applied on the bottom surface of the FRP layer. The platelet ash is arranged than the bottom surface of the FRP layer in the center of the bottom surface of the FRP layer. The FRP layer and the panel are combined vertically. A gap between the FRP layer and the panel is filled with a binder so the FRP layer and the panel are laterally combined. A molded product is separated from the mold.
