A method and device for synchronizing time of network games is disclosed by the present invention, which solves the problems of the prior art that excessive memory and CPU resources are consumed, and that the game experience of players with larger network delay is reduced. In the present invention, based on the time of a network game server sending a data package to a network game client, the time of the network game client sending the data package to the network game server and the time of the network game server receiving the data package from the network game client, the time difference between the network game server and the network game client is obtained; based on said time difference, the actual time of the network game client sending the data package to the network game server during the game is obtained; and the time of network game clients is synchronized. The present invention enables the time of the client sending the data package to the server to be determined accurately. The hardware resources, e.g., CPU, memory, etc, is saved, and the game experience is improved. |
