MULTIBAND DRC SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING THRESHOLD OF MULTIBAND DRC SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method of determining threshold of a DRC system and a multiband DRC system is provided to efficiently reproduce a high sound by preventing distortion of a low sound in a speaker having a small diameter. CONSTITUTION: A filter unit(110) separates a digital audio signal into a first to a N number of band audio signal according to a (N-1) number of cross over frequency. A first to a N DRC(120-1~120-N) dynamically compresses the first to the N band audio signal. A summer adds an output signal of the first to the N number of DRC. A post DRC dynamically compresses an output signal of the summer. The filter unit separated the digital audio signal into the first to the N number of DRC according to the cross over frequency.
