The gong (4) has an end fixed to a sounding spring holder (5) of a ringing device. A middle section is oscillated by following striking of a hammer of the ringing device. A middle part comprises two sections (41, 43) presenting transversal sections of different surfaces, where transversal sections of the two sections are in identical form. A free end is opposite to an end, where the free end forms a counterweight. A transversal section of the counterweight is identical to two sections. An independent claim is also included for a watch comprising a sounding device.
