The invention relates to an assisted petroleum recovery method consisting in injecting, into an underground oil-bearing formation, an aqueous injection fluid comprising at least one galactomannan polymer substituted by at least one sulfonating agent. The invention also relates to an injection fluid having injectivity properties which are greater than those of existing injection fluids.
