<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assembling a heat pump unit of a washing and drying machine where precision in assembling of a compressor is improved, by absorbing variation in dimensions of a heat exchange portion and a piping member without decreasing productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The end of a first tube 51 and that of the fourth tube 54 of the piping member 34 connected with the heat exchange portion 32 are free ends. Therefore, when the compressor 31 and the heat exchange portion 32 are arranged in a casing 35, the piping member 34 is fit into the refrigerant outlet 55 of the compressor 31 or the refrigerant inlet 56 of an accumulator 33 and welded. Thus, by adjusting the position of the piping member 34 when connecting the piping member 34 to the compressor 31 and the accumulator 33, the variation in dimensions of the heat exchange portion 32 and the piping member 34 is reduced. As a result, force applied from the piping member 34 to the compressor 31 and the accumulator 33 is reduced, and the variation in the position of the compressor 31 with respect to the casing 35 is also reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
