<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position discrimination device capable of discriminating precisely the position of a detection object. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of imaging means 11 are arranged dispersedly so that each optical axis crosses mutually, and so as to be positioned on the lower side in the vertical direction with respect to an intersection point o of each optical axis, and to be positioned on both sides in the front-back direction of a vehicle body with respect to the intersection point o of each optical axis. A discrimination means has a constitution wherein a range at a shorter distance than a set distance from the intersection point o of each optical axis on the lower side and the upper side in the vertical direction of the intersection point o of each optical axis is defined as a non-detection range, and a range separated as far as the set distance or more from the intersection point o of each optical axis on the lower side in the vertical direction of the intersection point o of each optical axis is defined as a detection range, and the position in the vertical direction of the detection object 6 to a reference position in the detection range is discriminated based on a difference of each imaging position of the detection object 6 in a pair of images imaged by the pair of imaging means 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
