<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire source probing system that allows an operation test for reliably and rapidly determining whether an infrared camera has failed. <P>SOLUTION: The fire source probing system locates the position of a fire source by detecting, based on imaging data obtained with an infrared camera (14), any pixel value in excess of a predetermined threshold value from among a plurality of pixel values making up the imaging data. The system includes an infrared camera control part (12) that controls the start of the infrared camera and obtains the imaging data; a simulated fire test light source (16) which is controlled to turn on or off during the operation test of the infrared camera; and an integral processing part (11) which obtains operation test data obtained by outputting an operation test start command to the infrared camera control part after outputting a lighting command to the simulated fire test light source and which determines that the infrared camera is normal if the measured temperature values of all pixels in the operation test data are within an allowable temperature range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
