<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for reducing power consumption under the partial control of a touch panel and a back light while making a necessary function available for each pattern of a normal mode. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with: a display part on which one display region is divided into plurality, and functions necessary in a normal mode are respectively assigned and displayed in each of the divided display regions; a back light installed corresponding to each of the divided display regions; a touch panel installed corresponding to each of the divided display regions, and configured to accept an operation to set the assigned functions; and a control part for controlling the ON/OFF of the back light and the touch panel based on definition data preliminarily defining the setting of the ON/OFF of the back light and the touch panel according to a plurality of patterns obtained by subdividing the normal mode and a plurality of functions necessary in the normal mode and the recognized pattern of the normal mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
