PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device for a vehicle capable of acquiring a video of a part just under and a periphery part with high resolution without missing a video around a horizon. SOLUTION: The image display device for the vehicle capable of displaying an image obtained by taking the video around the vehicle includes: an imaging part which includes a fish-eye lens and an imaging device to detect light condensed by the fish-eye lens, and is attached to the vehicle to turn nearly just under so that an optical axis of the fish-eye lens may be perpendicular to the ground, and where the optical axis of the fish-eye lens is shifted to a side where it is separated from the vehicle with respect to a center of a detection area of the imaging device, and an image processing part which processes image data imaged by the imaging part and displays it at a display part.
