摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration and noise of an optical disk drive by easily and surely changing a mass eccentricity parameter in accordance with a using environment of the optical disk drive or a user's preference. SOLUTION: A reproducing signal processing apparatus 8 detects the number of track traverse (TZC values) corresponding to the mass eccentricity of the optical disk 1 from the reproducing signal of the optical pickup 3. A memory 9 stores a plurality of mass eccentricity parameters stipulating an upper limit value of TZC values in each disk rotating speed. A microcomputer reduces a rotating speed of a disk motor 2 to a limiting speed stipulated in the parameter when the detected TZC value exceeds the upper limit value to be stipulated in the mass eccentricity parameter.
