It is described a sealing device (100) for sealing a bearing device (300), in particular an oil lubricated bearing device (300). The sealing device (100) comprises a scraper element (101). The scraper element (101) is adapted for being supported by the bearing device (300). The scraper element (101) is adapted for being pressed against the rotating shaft (301) which is supported by the bearing device (300) in such a way that lubricant from rotating shaft (301) is scraped off.
