PRESS MOLDING APPARATUS AND PRESS MOLDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press molding apparatus which shortens the molding period of a fiber reinforced resin for molding a fiber reinforced resin in a three dimensional shape. SOLUTION: In a press molding apparatus 10 including an upper die 100 and bottom die 200 and for press molding a fiber reinforced resin 20 on an upper die 100 and a bottom die 200, its peripheral part is held in the upper die 100 or the bottom die 200, a first elastic sheet 300 placed above the fiber reinforced resin 20 and its peripheral part is held in the upper die 100 or the bottom die 200 during pressing, and a second elastic sheet 400 placed below the fiber reinforced resin 20 during pressing and for inserting the fiber reinforced resin 20 between the first elastic sheet 300 and the second elastic sheet 400 during pressing.
