PURPOSE: A method and device for touch input are provided to supply various touch input by distinguishing an input of a thumb of left or right. CONSTITUTION: A touch sensor(110) receives a finger touch input. A touch area detector(120) detects a contact area of the touch sensor and a finger. If the contact area is over a critical value of a curvature which can be recognized as a circle, a controller(130) recognizes a finger as a thumb. |
