PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance identity of an image file in which a similar phenomenon is repeatedly photographed. SOLUTION: A conversion processing unit 22 of data for output extracts and duplicates an image corresponding to generation timing of a trigger signal among images of 100 continuous frames collected by a video camera body 3, superimposes information such as photographing conditions on the image, and inserts the image before a head image to generate a file of a predetermined format. The file is transmitted from a PC 2 for control to an external PC 4. When the file is displayed on the PC 4 using a file display function loaded on a standard OS, images in which the phenomenon for observation appears are displayed by thumbnails, so that it becomes possible for an operator to easily specify the file from the images.
