PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating device used as a ventilating fan etc. and capable of elongating a route in which sound deadening is performed by a sound deadening means between an opening facing an indoor space and a suction port of a fan to reduce noise emitted to the indoor space. SOLUTION: The ventilating device includes a first case body 6 including the centrifugal fan 2 and a second case body 9 having the opening 8 on a lower face 7 and including the sound deadening means. Due to this configuration, the route in which sound deadening is performed by the sound deadening means between the opening 8 on the lower face 7 to the suction port 13 of the centrifugal fan 2 is elongated and thus, the ventilating device 1 can reduce noise emitted to the indoor space.
