PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a bismuth superconducting wire rod capable of improving critical current value. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises a process (S20) for filling a raw material powder of a bismuth superconducting wire rod into a silver or silver-alloy tubular container, a process (S50) for heating so that a compound containing bismuth contained in the raw material powder may be melted, and a process (S70) for sintering to make the compound containing bismuth a Bi2223 phase. In the heating process (S50), it is preferable that the compound containing bismuth is heated in an inert gas atmosphere up to 820°C or higher and 900°C or lower. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
