PURPOSE: A sorter for scrap iron is provided to collect a small volume of scrap iron which has been discarded, by separately acquiring only scrap iron. CONSTITUTION: A sorter for scrap iron comprises a vibrating screen(2), iron piece conveyor(4), self adhering selector(8), iron plate slipway, impurity slipway(10), iron slipway(18), impurity conveyor(11), iron conveyor(12), and waste tub. The vibrating screen assorts a large volume of scrap iron and has a vent(1). The iron piece conveyor transfers a small volume of iron pieces. The self adhering selector includes an electromagnet inside the belt and protrusions on the external surface. |
