A face emulation pronunciation system and method thereof are provided. The system comprises a receiving module (110) for receiving a pronunciation instruction, a load module (120) for loading a demonstrative mouth shape picture and a preset portrait picture according to the pronunciation instruction, an image recognition module (130) for pattern recognition of the preset portrait picture to obtain mouth position and mouth contour parameters, an image adjusting module (140) for adjusting the demonstrative mouth shape picture in accordance with the mouth contour parameters, an image combination module (150) for combining the demonstrative mouth shape picture with the preset portrait picture according to the mouth position to obtain a target portrait picture, a background elimination module (160) for eliminating background from the target portrait picture to obtain a portrait picture, and an execution and display module (170) for executing the pronunciation instruction to pronounce and displaying the portrait picture. The receiving module (110), the load module (120), the image recognition module (130), the image adjusting module (140), the image combining module (150), the background elimination module (160), and the execution and display module (170) are connected in sequence.
