The invention relates to guanidine derivatives of general formula (I), where the groups R1, R2 und R3 have the indicated meanings, as accelerators for cold-curing epoxy resin compositions. Said compounds allow cold-curing epoxy resin systems to be advantageously cured in an accelerated manner.
