<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bioreactor which is high in gas/liquid/solid separation efficiency and therefore improves bioreaction efficiency in a vessel. <P>SOLUTION: An area from a middle neighborhood to the bottom part of the vessel 1 is a bioreaction area S where sludge floats. After raw water is subjected to an anaerobic biological treatment in the bioreaction area S, the raw water is introduced into a gas/liquid/solid separator 4 in the upper part in the vessel 1 to be gas/liquid/solid separated. The treated water, which is gas/liquid/solid separated, is removed outside the vessel 1 through a treated-water removing pipe 6. A solid content settles in the gas/liquid/solid separator 4, and is returned to the bioreaction area S in the vessel 1 through a solid-content discharge pipe 7. Baffles 21-24 consisting of an annular shape plate material with a taper shape, the diameter of which is smaller toward the lower part, are arranged in the gas/liquid/solid separator 4.
